So I am trying to get back into the practice of prepping sermons. I have come to love the lectionary and its emphasis on Jesus, and often used that for my sermon texts in years past. So as I launch this podcast, I want to look at the Gospel text from the lectionary and just think through it with you. Whether you are a teacher or a pastor or just someone wanting to learn more of the scripture, I hope this benefits and encourages you.

Today’s text is John 20:19-31. It’s the story of Jesus’ appearance to his disciples at two specific times, and includes the story of “believing” Thomas.
